ABOUT QUANTITY SURVEYING CHAPTER

Collaboration between ASEAN Quantity Surveyors Association & Fed. MES: On August 8, 2021, officials from both organizations held their first coordination meeting via the Zoom platform. The discussion focused on enhancing the capacity of Quantity Surveying practitioners in Myanmar and collaborating to help them achieve international professional standards.

About AQSA: The ASEAN Quantity Surveyors Association (AQSA) was established to advance the Quantity Surveying profession.

+   Myanmar and Thailand recognized as member countries in 2022.

+   Cambodia and Vietnam participate as observer countries.

+   Focused on regional professional development and cooperation.

Establishment

It was established under the leadership and guidance of the President and Central Executive Committee of Fed. MES.

Leadership Team

The initial committee included Engr. Thein Zaw, Engr. Saw Htwe Zaw, U Wai Phyo Linn, and Ms. Le Le Win.

Membership Status

As of July 2025, there are 129 professionals recognized by the Myanmar Engineering Council.
